At Dott, I’ve been working on the company’s most latency-critical services — keeping hundreds of thousands of vehicles online and processing every telemetry message within a second. I optimized telemetry pipelines, cutting $100K+ in annual cloud spend, doubled system throughput, and reduced latency by ~50%. I redesigned telemetry history storage by moving to Bigtable with Pub/Sub decoupling, cutting DB costs 75% while achieving sub-100ms access. I also drove multiple zero-downtime migrations to GKE, improved monitoring/alerting with Grafana + Prometheus, and contributed infra code with Terraform, ArgoCD, and OpenTelemetry. Earlier at Dott, I built in-house SMS verification (90% cheaper, 15% more reliable), designed identity & access management, migrated GCP infra to Terraform, and consistently ensured high test coverage.
