Led the modernization of internal Identity and Access Management (IAM), advancing from an SMB-focused solution to an enterprise-grade platform with two-factor authentication (2FA) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). 

Oversaw platform performance teams to ensure scalability and reliability.

Spearheaded multiple cross-functional security and privacy initiatives, including audit logging and PCI DSS compliance, enhancing the security posture across the platform.

Modernizing the PaaS Wordpress platform, the major revenue source for WP Engine. Responsible for the implementation of major architectural changes of the platform to bring scale, efficiency and savings while reducing the risk of deployments to thousands of servers.

Led several complex security initiatives, including securing the Adobe Commerce Cloud stores through online malware scanning, WAF rollout, egress filtering, centralized logging, alerting, and system reporting. Designed and helped establish major improvements in security processes across various teams, like Security Squadron, Shared Responsibility, and support security runbook.

Successfully managed the sunsetting of the Magento 1 legacy platform.

Managed the industry-leading Magento 1 platform with over 200,000 users. Responsible for application security, developer experience, product performance, and innovations in Magento 2, the next-generation eCommerce solution.

Drove the prioritization and development of core features for Magento by capturing, analyzing, and managing product ideas and customer feedback. Extended the useful life of the legacy Magento platform by leading a complete front-end architecture overhaul.

Led requirements analysis, product demonstrations, and solution proposals. Worked closely with partners and clients on the technical aspects of Magento products, including PCI/PA-DSS solutions, helping secure key deals.

Oversaw the initial release of Magento Enterprise Edition, including essential ecosystem components such as the user guide, distribution system, and a PA-DSS certified payment solution.

QA, radiation therapy technician, research
