I started my career as a frontend developer that brought other people's design decisions to life before I ever touched a design tool myself. That foundation changed how I think about product design: it's not about making something look good but a strategy & the decisions about what to build and why, long before a single pixel gets pushed.
Since then I've led product design end-to-end at a fintech startup, published 3 UXR articles at international conferences, taught prototyping workshops, and spent the last couple of years going deep on how to use AI intentionally in the design process.
Right now, almost every designer I talk to is trying to figure this out on their own. I got a lot of generous help early in my career, and mentoring here is how I want to pay that forward.
