About Prashant Kulli
Senior Engineering Manager at NetApp
I’m a Senior Engineering Manager with nearly 20 years building and leading teams in enterprise storage, networking, and distributed systems — currently at NetApp, previously at HPE/Nimble Storage and Dell EMC, across India, Singapore, and the US. I hold four U.S. patents in storage reliability and failover technology, and I’ve led global engineering and support organizations responsible for keeping mission-critical infrastructure — banking, healthcare, government — up and running.
I like mentoring engineers on: making the jump from IC to engineering manager, building technical depth in systems/storage/networking, working effectively across distributed global teams, interview prep and career strategy, and the early-career questions about what actually matters once you’re on the job. I’ve mentored informally throughout my career and recently led an early-career session for new grads — happy to bring that same directness to our conversation.
