About pratima upadhyay

Software Engineer at Airbnb

Hello! I’m Pratima, a passionate Software Engineer with over 6.5 years of experience specializing in Back-end and Full Stack development, as well as Systems Design. My journey began at Microsoft, where I tackled large-scale engineering challenges and built a solid foundation in distributed systems, microservice architecture, cloud computing, REST API design, and system design. Currently, I’m part of the team at Airbnb, where I work on secure and resilient payments and compliance platforms that operate on a global scale.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with cross-functional teams and participated in hiring processes, interviewing with over 30 companies and securing multiple offers from both India and abroad. I've also interviewed more than 50 engineers. This extensive experience provides me with valuable insights into the interview process, allowing me to share practical tips and lessons drawn from my own journey. This journey has given me a strong understanding of how interviews really work, and I now use those insights to help others prepare more effectively
