With a keen interest in problem-solving - from a user/customer-centric standpoint, I bring in my Design Thinking Expertise with the work experience of intrapreneurial flair. I've recently joined Trimble as a Lead UX Designer. Earlier, as a Lead Experience Designer at Siemens R&D, I handled business and research projects - right from defining the UX strategy in a Business context, to user research, defining the happy path journeys to delivering the final User interfaces and supporting the development in Design realization. I would like to bring together my experiences and share the learnings with Designers who are professionally treading a similar journey of growth in Design. Below are some details of my work and achievements.

My interest and research focus has been 'User Experience for eXtended Reality' (Augmented + Mixed + Virtual Realities) and 'UX for Trust on AI', 'UX for Knowledge Graph Visualization', 'UX in Gamification'. Relevant research outcomes haven been translated into business projects - patents have been filed and selected research findings have been published in international conferences such CHI'17, HCI2020, ICoRD'20, along with an invited talk at ISMAR'17. Won the prestigious Global Siemens 'Inventors of the Year 2020' Design Team award for UX contribution to Dubai Expo 2020.

Prior to my Master of Design from IIT Kanpur (Gold Medalist for All-round performance), my Bachelors in Electronics and Communication (B.Tech) and industrial Software Development experience (1.5 years) provide me with a solid understanding of technicalities to be considered while realizing value delivering designs. Working in multiple projects with a multi-disciplinary team, also leading a few of these projects myself, I have a gained considerable experience in planning, coordinating and delivering the best to address the customer expectations.

My other interests include observing people, learning languages, education, animation, writing self-help theories etc. Nature and everyday events are my best inspirations and I love translating these inspirations passionately into my work to solve the challenges at hand. I feel that is when my service is at its best!
