About Puneet Sharma

Software Engineer III at Monzo Bank

Hi, I'm Puneet and I'm a Software Engineer with over 8+ YOE.

Passion for computing began at age 12 with assembling desktops and debugging OS and driver related issues. While on this path I learn a lot about hardware interfacing, drivers and various components inside a system. I had a short stint as a network engineer as well. This continued until my college education where I transitioned into software. My first ever application was a super notepad, kinda crossover between word and notepad.

Through my journey I've worked in a wide range of companies all the way from Startup to large MNC's.

I moved to London back in 2022 to work for a startup, but later moved to checkout.com and Currently I'm employed with Monzo bank where I'm working with Payments collective.

I actively mentor people in and outside of work on topics like, job hunting, career advancements, interviewing and up-skilling.
