About Rachel Schaeffer
Sr Manager UX Product Design at QVC Group (QVC+)
Hi, I’m Rachel and I’m a Senior Manager of Product Design & Research, leading a team of 9 across product design, UX research, and UX writing. I’ve grown into design leadership over the last few years, and I’m passionate about helping others take the next step in their careers—especially those figuring out how to establish themselves, grow their confidence, and get noticed for the work they do.
Having recently made the jump from IC to manager, I bring a fresh perspective on what stands out in portfolios, interviews, and presentations. I know what hiring managers are looking for—because I was just on the other side of the table not long ago.
I’ve worked in both startup and corporate environments, and I enjoy mentoring others on how to navigate different orgs, build cross-functional relationships, and grow their influence—no matter their title.
I can help you with: Portfolio and project feedback Presenting and storytelling your work Interview prep and design challenges Navigating the leap from IC to leadership Building visibility and influence within your org
