My journey into data and AI started in traditional BI and data warehousing, where I built dashboards and reporting systems for enterprise clients. Early in my career, I realized that the real impact doesn’t come from reports alone — it comes from designing the data platforms that power analytics, machine learning, and real-time decision-making.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve grown from a BI developer into a Data Engineering leader and AI platform architect, building large-scale cloud and lakehouse systems that process multi-terabyte healthcare data daily. Today, I design ML-ready data ecosystems, real-time pipelines, and governed platforms that enable AI applications in production, especially in the healthcare domain where data quality and reliability directly affect patient outcomes.
Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to publish research, deliver keynotes, review for IEEE and Springer venues, and serve as a Professor of Practice — all of which strengthened my passion for mentoring and helping others navigate the rapidly evolving data and AI landscape.
