As part of the FAME: Andy Warhol in ALUla  exhibition at Maraya, Rana Salam was invited to give two design workshops on Pop Art Arabia in the spirit of Andy Warhol's philosophy and work & a visually immersive talk about her life and work as a designer. 

The ‘Cut & Paste’ workshop as part of the FAME exhibition in ALULa was all about looking at traditional Arabic/Islamic geometric shapes and letterform, this workshop brought these treasures to the students and taught them how to manipulate and reinvent them into contemporary forms. 

‘From Shaabi to Chic’ workshop, as part of the FAME exhibition in ALULa showed students step by step on how designer Rana Salam merges two opposite worlds into one. It showed step by step how to reimagine one’s designs and get inspired from Arab vintage memorabilia.

Takreem Foundation homers Arab talent around the world. For the launch of Takreem America, Rana Salam gave the foundation a new facelift to be positioned in the right light for its community, donors and nominees.

Rana Salam Studio takes on one of the biggest challenges on how to create a fresh take on Lebanese street food and give Noura and it’s customers a more modern approach to Lebanse eateries. Having worked with three branding agencies to get the results they are searching for, CFO Ziad Bou Antoun gives his last shot with Rana Salam Studio. The results are to be revealed in 2020. Watch this space!

Commissioned to create the packaging for Bassam Fattouh x Elissa. Bassam wanted something that would reflect Elissa’s stardom and his passion for make up. The results were fabulous!
