I am an award-winning design leader and strategist with a resume spanning years of purpose-driven work experience from serving as Design Director for US Senator Elizabeth Warren to private sector credits at the New York Times, Pivotal Labs, and IBM. Currently, I work as a Staff Designer on Polaris at Shopify.

I am also a public speaker whose works and topics are connected by a passion for accessibility and inclusion, research-driven design thinking, and a hunger for tackling complex and challenging problems.

At home, I draw comics, tear through fiction novels, and take too many photos of my cat. I care deeply about inclusive, empowered, diverse teams. I am bi+ and queer, a brasilian-texan latinx, immigrants’ kid, and a scorpio. 🦂
