About Ravi Teja Thutari

Senior Software Engineer at Hopper

Hi, I’m Ravi, with over 12 years of experience in building scalable, high-impact solutions across travel, e-commerce, logistics, and cybersecurity domains, I’ve developed deep expertise in architecting and delivering distributed, cloud-native systems. I’ve led initiatives at top tech companies like Hopper, Amazon, Wayfair, and Symantec, consistently driving innovation and measurable business impact.

I specialize in backend engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), microservices, and API integrations, with hands-on experience in Scala, Java, Python, React, and Kubernetes. Over the years, I’ve designed and developed hundreds of microservices, optimized system performance, and played key roles in decoupling monolithic systems to enable agile, modern architectures.

I’m equally passionate about mentoring engineers, sharing knowledge through tech talks, and fostering collaborative environments. Whether it’s guiding new team members, leading cross-functional initiatives, or supporting others in navigating career or technical challenges, I take pride in helping others grow and succeed.

Thanks for your time—I’m excited to continue contributing to the tech community, share my learnings, and support fellow professionals in their journeys.
