Working on design and strategy for ServiceNow’s Mobile Studio suite of products

- Executively led a large-scale 180-volunteer organization (60 direct reports) to host SDSW 2017, San Diego’s largest entrepreneur conference that attracted over 4000 attendees (25% increase in attendance from the previous year).

- Broadened industry track offerings by 50% and increased total session count to 286 sessions (+90% from the previous year).

- Contributor to Convergence 2018, SDSW 2018, and the startup ecosystem (organizations, universities, coworking spaces)

Led efforts to facilitate product-market fit, pitching, term sheets, negotiations, and team.  Served as a program lead and mentor for 25 cohorts through Class of 2018.

Lead designer for Tealium's core products:
IQ, AudienceStream, EventStream, DataAccess

• Introduced data-driven design processes in a tech-driven engineering-driven organization.
• Ran comparative/competitive analysis on new features, facilitated focus groups and user interviews, and constructed journey maps to use as a primary communication tool between cross-functional teams.
• Created lo-fi and hi-fi mockups, prototypes, and facilitated user testing to ensure customer-driven results.
• Led efforts to create a modular design system and hand-crafted web components that are widely adopted throughout our UI
• Contributor to an internal developer style guide with components imported from Sketch, Figma, and ReactJS components.
• Led many high-impact projects among product team of 8 engineers and 2 designers; transformed existing engineering processes to allow communication and transparency between fellow team members and stakeholders.
• Optimized our product to handle scale, lower memory footprint, and increased app performance by up to 94%.
• Designed and built an internal feedback system to allow customers to communicate directly to the product team upon releases.
• Led redesign of application based on internal and external feedback to drive self-service initiatives.

The on-the-go planning app that helps you discover experiences based on what others have experienced around you

- A did a lot of designing, coding, designing, coding, designing, coding... literally.
- Rewrote many front-end APIs and utility classes that power core features of Tealium iQ.
- Refactored vanilla JS code that improved our app performance and responsiveness in various areas of our app. Ask me how I optimized our extensions page load time from 60s to 2s (~30x faster)
- Wrote and designed roughly 50% of iQ core features, including the entire merge and validation code and flow that later got copied by our competitors.

I designed and programmed web experiences for 36 accounts, along with collaboration with experts in SEO and marketing. Technologies include Javascript, PHP, HTML/CSS from scratch, Wordpress development, Flash, ActionScript 3, MySQL.
