Roaa Ahmed is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in strategy, growth, and business development across startups, scale-ups, and global organizations. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Entrepreneurship at University College London (UCL) School of Management, ranked #9 globally, as a Chevening Scholar among the top 0.9% of scholars selected worldwide.

Her journey is deeply rooted in the startup ecosystem, working full-time with early and growth-stage ventures during transformative years. She served as Regional Head of Strategy & Growth at Chefaa, driving SMO, revenue diversification, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional governance. Previously, she led strategic programs at WUZZUF and Forasna, Egypt’s leading digital employment platforms, and served as Chief Growth Officer at Entreprenelle, where she built MENA’s largest women-focused entrepreneurial digital community, engaging 100K female entrepreneurs since 2019.

Across these roles, Roaa has focused on scaling ventures and integrating strategy execution, business growth, and social impact across various industries. Alongside her leadership experience, she built a strong consulting and coaching portfolio, serving as Egypt’s Country Advisor and Business Coach for CFYE (Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs Employment Fund) and designing/managing programs funded by USAID, GIZ, EBRD, and UN Women. As a 2023 U.S. Department of State Professional Fellow, she worked on growth value creation at SEAF, a global impact-investing firm in Washington, DC. At Meta (Facebook), she served as FCC Regional Manager for MENA, led global initiatives and co-established Meta’s first health community vertical. in 2020, she was recognized among Top 24 Impact-Driven Facebook Community Leaders worldwide and is one of the first Arab Meta Certified Community Managers.

Since 2018, Roaa has supported over 4,200 learners and 1,100 entrepreneurs as an Mentor/Expert in Residence (EIR) and trainer with DMZ, VC4Africa, Women Entrepreneurs Network, EdVentures (Egypt), CODE (KSA), and Playbook (Bahrain & UAE) helping portfolio companies, scale-ups, and ecosystem enablers achieve measurable impact.

Roaa holds a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering from Ain Shams University, a Certificate in Strategy Execution from Harvard Business School, and is a Certified Positive Psychology Coach from the Intellect School of Coaching. She also studied Growth Management (Reforge), Project Management for Development Practitioners (AUC), and is a Certified Mentor and Business Coach (LCE).
