Creating the most refined and impactful product alongside visionary investors and an exceptional team.

As Design Director at The Bridge, I played a dual role as both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, ensuring design was deeply integrated into the company’s vision. I worked closely with the Product Director and collaborated across multiple departments to deliver a functional, high-quality product that aligned with stakeholder directives.

My key achievements include leading the creation of a recruitment and selection platform for tech professionals, building both the product and its design system from the ground up, and defining a key visual that serves as the foundation for the platform’s sub-products. Additionally, I implemented design methodologies that significantly improved delivery speed and quality, assembled a team of specialized designers, and presented directly to the company’s C-level executives.

CashMe is one of the largest real estate loan fintechs in Latin America, transforming the market with innovative financial solutions.

I was responsible for building a new product from the ground up and establishing the company's design department. This involved hiring and developing a high-performing design team, implementing design methodologies, and ensuring seamless collaboration between designers, developers, and stakeholders.

My key achievements include starting as the first hands-on designer, where I created the initial visual concepts, the first screens of the company's main product, and the foundational CashMe Design System. Beyond launching the product, I was also responsible for its continuous improvement, iterating on the design to keep it updated and aligned with user needs and business goals, ensuring the best possible user experience. I also built a multidisciplinary design team, bringing in top-tier Service Designers, UX Researchers, Product Designers, and UX Writers. To foster a strong design culture, I organized company-wide meetups with designers from across Brazil and led the first Design Workshop—an end-to-end challenge covering discovery, user journeys, personas, and high-fidelity prototypes for the main product.

By leveraging strategic design tools and methodologies, I ensured clear documentation, centralized research insights, and an efficient design workflow, driving consistency and innovation across the product.

McKinsey & Company was my greatest school as a designer—the place where I learned and grew the most professionally. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work across nearly all of South America, primarily designing digital products for the banking sector. In addition to financial services, I also contributed to insurance and mining projects, including on-site work in the Andes Mountains.

I collaborated with major clients such as Banco de Bogotá, Banco do Chile, Banco General do Panamá, BCP, Cerro Verde, Codelco, Samsung, Enel, FreePort McMoran, Galicia, Itaú, Iunigo, Modec, Naranja, Natura, Paraná Banco, and internal McKinsey initiatives. Each client had unique challenges, and my role was to analyze their specific needs, identify opportunities, and design digital products that aligned with stakeholder demands.

Beyond product design, I was also responsible for recruiting and training designers within client teams, ensuring they could maintain and evolve the product even after McKinsey’s engagement ended. This dual focus on strategy and execution allowed me to create impactful, scalable solutions while empowering in-house teams to sustain long-term success.

neryroger.cc is a multidisciplinary design consultancy specializing in digital products for small and mid-sized startups worldwide. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, the studio helps businesses shape and refine their digital experiences. As the sole designer, I create end-to-end digital solutions from scratch, ensuring they are fully tailored to each project's unique needs. I align business goals, manage scope, support teams, and define the best approach for every challenge.

I design and develop custom solutions, identify and solve product challenges, define user journeys and opportunities, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, align visuals with business goals, and validate solutions through user testing.

As a Designer at Fjord, I had the opportunity to be part of the first design team after the company was acquired by Accenture. It was at Fjord that I was first introduced to UX Research and Service Design, working alongside incredibly talented designers who not only taught me a great deal but remain close peers and industry references to this day.

During my time there, I contributed to projects that I still consider benchmarks in visual delivery. My role involved applying conceptual thinking to craft world-class digital services across multiple platforms, seamlessly aligning user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. I leveraged design methodologies such as personas, storyboards, user flows, moodboards, iconography, typography, photography, and illustrations to create engaging and functional experiences.

My main clients included Banco do Brasil, Banco Original, TIM, and internal Accenture initiatives, where I helped shape innovative digital solutions that combined strategy, aesthetics, and usability. My work was recognized with Disruptive Innovation Awards and a Golden Prize for projects with TIM and Banco Original, further reinforcing the impact and excellence of our design solutions.

At SapientNitro, I had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry—mentors and colleagues who pushed me to refine my skills, elevate my design techniques, and deliver higher-quality work. It was one of the most successful chapters of my career, where I grew tremendously as a designer.

My role involved transforming briefs into compelling creative concepts, collaborating closely with copywriters to develop impactful ideas, and crafting visually engaging designs to produce highly effective advertising campaigns. I had the opportunity to work with major clients such as Buscopan, Dove, Google, Mizuno, Sony, Banco Safra, and Samsung, among others, creating campaigns that combined strategic thinking, creativity, and strong visual storytelling.

At Grupo TV1 I was responsible for clients such as GOL and Smiles, developing campaigns and design projects selected by project managers. One of the most significant and rewarding projects I worked on was the GOL website, where I applied my expertise in user interface and user experience design to create a seamless and engaging digital experience. This project not only challenged my skills but also reinforced the impact of well-executed design in enhancing user interactions.

At Wunderman, I had the opportunity to work on projects that were crucial to my growth in user interface and user experience design. It was there that I refined my skills, collaborated with top professionals, and gained hands-on experience with 3D tools, expanding my creative capabilities. I worked with major clients such as Danone and Vivo, contributing to interactive campaigns and digital experiences that elevated brand engagement.

My role involved collaborating with art directors and copywriters to develop comprehensive campaign concepts, while also leading the interactive design strategy. As one of the most senior hands-on creatives on interactive projects, I worked closely with the Design Director, Creative Director, and Art Director to ensure high-quality, innovative digital solutions that aligned with both user needs and business objectives.

At BUSK, I had my first real exposure to interface design and user experience, which became the foundation of my career in digital design. It was there that I met my great mentor, who guided me into the design field at a time when I was still uncertain about my professional path. This experience was pivotal in shaping my skills and establishing me in the industry.

As an Interface Designer and Art Director, I was responsible for designing and refining new interfaces, ensuring a seamless and innovative user experience. Using Photoshop, I crafted digital layouts and interactive elements that enhanced the platform’s usability. BUSK, a social network for collecting and sharing articles across websites, provided me with an invaluable opportunity to develop my expertise in digital product design, setting the stage for the career I have today.

Garage was where my career truly began—it was my first internship and the place where I had my first hands-on experience with advertising campaigns, banners, websites, and 3D design. It was there that I discovered my passion for design and worked alongside incredible professionals who played a crucial role in my growth. To this day, I’m grateful for the people I met at Garage—without them, I wouldn’t have reached where I am today.

As a Design Intern, I was involved in various aspects of the creative process, from developing design concepts and generating ideas to collaborating with copywriters and presenting work to clients. I had the opportunity to work alongside illustrators, designers, and creative teams, ensuring that projects met both creative and strategic objectives. This experience gave me a solid foundation in visual storytelling and set the stage for everything that followed in my career.
