I'm Rohit, a Senior Staff Engineer at Databricks where I lead the Traffic Platform team building the service mesh and API gateway layer that carries billions of requests. I'm also a Senior Maintainer of Envoy Proxy, the CNCF project behind a huge share of the internet's traffic infrastructure, and a member of its Security Team.
Seven years deep in networking and distributed systems. I've shipped multi-tenant proxy platforms for enterprise customers, cut latency at the protocol level, co-authored Envoy's Dynamic Modules framework, and filed three patents along the way. Also plenty of production incidents, which taught me more than the wins did.
