A highly experienced and results-oriented UX Research leader with over 10 years of experience driving user-centered design in diverse industries, including advertising technology, geospatial data, and healthcare. My journey to UX Research began at Microsoft, where I was conducting functional testing on the Embedded Device Manager. Observing user sessions for a product I had tested proved to be a pivotal moment. I was shocked to see a user completely miss a button that I knew functioned perfectly. This eye-opening experience underscored the critical importance of understanding product design from the user's perspective, sparking my passion for UX Research.
This realization fueled my career progression, leading me to......the role of Director of UX Research at LiveRamp. In this leadership position, I built and scaled the UX Research practice from the ground up, embedding it as a strategic function and fostering a culture of user empathy. I have a proven track record of leading impactful research initiatives, including the development of user personas and user journey maps using mixed-methods approaches. My expertise spans the entire research lifecycle, from strategy development and study design to data collection, analysis, and communication of actionable insights.
