Key Responsibilities
• Take full ownership of a functional area of the team
• Spend the majority of time on designing and implementing web components needed for the project with working together with the team

Research and development
• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and optimize the WSO2 website(s)
• Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular testing and optimization
• Introduce new ideas on how to improve the web solutions and overall web/technical designs
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites 
• Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure effective marketing campaign execution
• Communicate assumptions and get clarification on tasks up front to minimize the need for rework
• Proactively keep customers (internal) informed about tasks and progress in a timely manner
• Analyze the business need of the customer (internal) and improve the web solutions
• Conduct demos, training, and presentations for the stakeholders

Key Achievements
• Became one of WSO2 global top 5% performers in the Marketing team in the H1 2021
• Mentored newly joined team members while giving regular feedback on his design works
• Build an email template library and trained an internal/external team to use it and now they can create emails on their own

Key Responsibilities
• Specialized in email and website developments
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process
• Lead and work on customer projects (mostly internal)

Key Achievements
• Got a chance to present at one conference and one meetup about my 2-year research about the email dark mode trend
• Updated all the WSO2 emails in dark mode friendly. Because of that it can improve the accessibility of the emails and increase the number of email client numbers
• Created diagrams guideline for internal and external teams and it helps to maintain the company brandling externally and internally. Also, conducted a few training sessions for external people and now they can manage to draw diagrams on their own while maintaining the WSO2 branding

"DZiel by Ruwanthi" consists of detail-oriented designs by me, Ruwanthi Sulanjali. I'm doing my full-time job during the week and am a dedicated artist on the weekends.

My art is my passion! I love detail; the more complex it is, the better. I believe there is a strong connection between characters and their details. Every person has unique characteristics, and I want to enhance these in a different way via my art.

Pen and ink are my mediums. You can identify my work by the intricate details and linework I use to create each piece. Every DZiel by Ru print is drawn, painted and shipped by me.
