Content Designer at Lotrek
I came to design from comparative literature and semiotics, by way of a research project on digital cultural heritage. If you're trying to make that kind of jump (humanities into UX, writing into design) I can tell you what actually transferred and what didn't.
Things I'm useful for: Information architecture: taxonomies, navigation, content models Content design and UX writing User research: usability testing, interviews, card sorting, tree testing Accessibility: running WCAG audits and knowing what to do with the findings Using AI in design work Getting into UX from a non-design background
I also teach UX and information architecture related disciplines for a living which mainly means I've had to learn to explain it without jargon.
I sit on the board of Architecta, the Italian information architecture association.
Sessions in English, Italian or French.
