Hi, I'm Samaa and I am a Senior UX Specialist with over 8 years of experience in user research, product design and strategy, interaction and visual design. I have a Masters Degree in Digital Experience and Innovation from the University of Waterloo and I have led design projects for startups, not-for-profits and large enterprise organizations. I have been a Toastmaster for over a decade and have been progressively improving my presentation skills and earned my Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award. Since I have a passion for giving back and given my credentials and experience, I am ready to mentor junior UX designers and design aspirants. Outside of work, you will find me in the gym working out, hiking in nature, doing yoga or drawing portraits. Also, I love travelling around the world and immersing myself with the locals learning their language, doing some extreme sports (i.e. caynoneering, rockclimbing, waterfall jumping, hand gliding and ziplining) or relaxing in the beach. I am available to chat regardless. :)
