Hi potential new mentee! My name is Sam, I've been working in UX for about 8 years now. I completed a UX Bootcamp in 2018 and have been working in the field ever since. My initial roles were designer roles and in 2021, I made the switch to being a full-time researcher. Since I have worked primarily for startups, my role responsibilities have been pretty extensive. In addition to the end-to-end roles of a designer, I have created research processes in my company, educated the broader team on the utility of research, initiated research projects, collaborated effectively with stakeholders, and delivered actionable insights. I am skilled in socializing research findings, making direction recommendations, creative solutioning, and working with your partners to bring them in. I am well-versed in generative, big-question research as well as usability testing and concept validation research.
