I’m Samarth Shah, a results-driven Software Engineer with almost 10 years of experience designing, developing, and launching large-scale distributed systems. I excel at leading teams, delivering complex projects on time, and driving significant revenue impact. My expertise spans enterprise cloud infrastructure, compute, storage, security, and privacy.
Currently, I am a Lead Software Engineer at Google, where I lead cross-region replication efforts for BigQuery resources, ensuring data resilience and compliance at scale. I also built the core platform enabling seamless adoption of replication across BigQuery teams. Previously, I pioneered privacy-first analytics, developing Data Clean Rooms and Entity Resolution frameworks that empower secure data analysis for over 500 enterprise customers.
At Microsoft, I was a founding engineer for Teleport, an innovative container runtime that improved startup times by 15x, earned a patent, and was adopted by key Azure services like AKS and ACI. I also led efforts on ACR Tasks, a cloud build service processing millions of jobs monthly.
I’m passionate about mentoring, technical innovation, and building solutions that address real-world challenges.
