As a member of the Growth & Retention Product Team at thinkmoney, I focused on servicing streamline to create the best possible user experience. My responsibilities included developing end-to-end user journeys, identifying pain points through user research and metrics, and creatively solving problems to address user needs. Working collaboratively with information architects, business analysts, and delivery managers, I also collaborated more closely with product owners, engineers, developers, user researchers, and data analysts. I created user journeys, sitemaps, navigation schema, and annotated wireframes, and conducted usability testing to gather feedback. In addition, I facilitated workshops with team members and stakeholders, managed stakeholders, helped define and build a design system, and implemented processes such as UI/UX audits and documentation to support UX maturity

At Connex One, I served as Lead Product Designer within the WFO product team, developing the user experience and interface for features that fostered deeper customer engagement. In my role, I managed all aspects of the product's UX/UI lifecycle, including problem definition, user-centric solutions, user testing, and prototyping. I identified core user and client problems, collaborated with an agile team, created research strategies and approaches, and led the "Discovery" process to tackle customer problems. I communicated project updates to Product Owners and key stakeholders and collaborated with other Senior Designers to maintain consistency through the Connex One Design System. I also developed principles and a growing Design System, implemented processes for smooth efficiency and productivity, supported Junior, Midweight, and Senior Designers, and facilitated workshops alongside product owners and other business leads. I utilized data and customer insights to inform and validate design thinking, demonstrated experience leading UI/UX design across a portfolio of products, and developed Customer Journeys, User Flows, and User Maps. I also proposed mock-ups, hi-end wireframes, and prototypes to support ideation, and created a design process and system in the form of Atomic Design.

As the person responsible for the User Experience and User Interface for all client products in the Desap portfolio, I established crucial relationships with clients and implemented user research and design strategies for their greenfield products. I coordinated with Product Managers, Operations, Stakeholders, Developers/Engineers, and Business Analysts to provide the best solutions for all.

As a senior member of the design team, I managed all aspects of the products UX/UI lifecycle, including problem definition, business requirements, user-centric solutions, user testing, and prototyping. I identified core user and client problems, worked with an agile team, and provided strategic solutions through user research and user testing of prototyping or hi-wireframe designs. I gathered research within workshops, created ideation sessions, and utilized analytical UX methodologies.

I demonstrated experience leading the UI/UX design across a portfolio of products, developed Customer Journeys, User Flows, and User Maps, and produced hi-end wireframes for final functional prototypes for iOS, Android, and Web. I also created the final version of the design for the user interface for these platforms. Additionally, I collaborated efficiently with other senior members of the team and managed the hand-off process to developers.

Working as part of Employability & Enterprise, assisting the Marketing team with artwork for third year students, smalls businesses and graduates. It was a fast pace environment, which helped me to be quicker in my decision making. I very much enjoyed being part of the team.

Responsibility: To Assist the production designer with the Solent Union '​ Student Union Booklet' for Summer 2013 as part of an Internship.


Duties:

- Producing artwork pages  for the 32 published booklet.
- Creating typographical graphics, manipulating them with imagery and content.
- Ensuring all creative, events,assets where copied through out the publication.

Approached by University lecturer, with my peer Scott Flood to design a layout for the Mary Rose Museum. A  digital app guide to show the public when exhibiting tours around the museum, for items not on display. As well to be used for educational purposes. We worked with four software programmers from Holland to build this app. It was a great experience and made some good connections.

Solent Creatives is an agency as part of Southampton Solent University. I gained a client through them and worked on a poster design. I gained client experience, and a working relationship with that client. I hope to work with Solent Creatives again
