About Sanduni Kariyawasam
Senior UX Designer at IFS
I'm Sanduni, a Lead UX Designer at IFS with 5+ years of experience designing accessible, research-driven products for enterprise software. My work centers on turning user research into real design decisions, from usability testing to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility implementation, and I've contributed to scaling design systems across complex, multicultural product teams.
Alongside my day-to-day work, I've spent the last few years speaking at conferences, leading UX workshops, and judging design hackathons across Sri Lanka, and I'm looking to bring that same energy to a global mentoring community. I want to mentor on ADPList because I care about shaping the next generation of design thinkers, not just helping people land their first UX role, but helping them build the research instincts and accessibility mindset that make design decisions defensible. I'd love to support early-career designers and career-switchers navigating the field for the first time.
