I led a team of three on an 18-month project to improve Boast AI's user interface, creating reusable UX patterns within a comprehensive design system. Conducting a thorough UX audit with tools like Pendo and Userback, we identified and resolved key pain points. Implementing a design system and component library based on Flowbite (Tailwind) streamlined the designer-developer workflow, reducing UX-Engineering meetings by 70% and accelerating market release times by 50%. I also established a detailed UX pattern library for new features and meticulously documented all design operations, tools, and processes, ensuring ongoing success for future projects.

- Approached by Vaultie to help oversee the redesign of all digital products
- User tested existing digital products, identified pain points and compiled UX artifacts, which were then used along with user personas to create a laundry list of required changes
- Used Atomic Design principles to create an internal design sytem in Figma, that was used to then create revamped pages for the marketing website and new workfows for the web and mobile apps
- The design system and general brand guidelines created during this time are still in use today at Vaultie.

I was responsible for visualizing Briza’s brand and directing the user experience roadmap using Figma and Adobe CC. Leading a team of five designers and developers, we built and launched The Smart Portal, Briza’s commercial insurance rater, including features like information collection, policy selection, and checkout screens. By applying user feedback in iterative design sprints, we grew The Smart Portal from zero to over 10,000 monthly submissions, which helped Briza secure Series A funding. I am currently leading the design and development of Air, Briza’s custom component library, now in use by customers of Briza’s API.

- Hired to lead the redesign of Tangerine’s new marketing website and related product pages
- Worked closely with CX Insights to learn about current customer pain points and feedback, which was then used to guide future work
- Lead a team of designers, developers and QA engineers to iteratively design and ship Tangerine’s redesigned marketing site
- Ensured that all design and code components were collected to ensure reusability - this was eventually published internally and extended upon to serve as Tangerine’s company-wide design system for all digital products.
- Compiled a design system built in Sketch, and developed using Storybook.
