Nice to meet you, I'm Sarika! I'm a Senior Product Designer at Ford, born and raised in Toronto, working and living in the Bay Area.

Over the past 8 years I've worked across industries like gaming, digital media, e-commerce, aerospace, automotive, and more, sometimes riding solo, sometimes collaborating with dozens of product people. The one thing I know for a fact is that I wouldn't have had such a fulfilling career without the many, many folks who helped me out along the way, and that's why I'm excited to now have the opportunity to pay it forward!

• Chat with Sarika! (30 min): General mentorship - let's chat about whatever's on your mind! Please note that this is meant to be an informal chat, during which I cannot review resumes or portfolios - kindly book other available sessions if you need this service.
• Portfolio Intensive (45 min): Want to turn your portfolio into a high-conversion tool that actually sticks with recruiters, hiring managers, or clients? In this two-part deep dive, I’ll help you go beyond surface level and get to the real story your portfolio needs to tell. Whether you're job-hunting or levelling up, you’ll walk away with a clearer narrative, sharper visuals, and a more confident way to present your work. In session 1, we’ll review your current portfolio and case studies through the lens of your career goals. I’ll give you clear, structured feedback on what’s working, what’s missing, and how to tailor it for your audience. You’ll leave with a prioritized to-do list and a framework for revisions. In session 2, after you’ve done some tinkering, we’ll reconvene to measure the impact of your updates, fix remaining issues, refine your messaging, and add final polish to ensure your work resonates with the right people.
• Résumé Intensive (42 min): Transform your résumé into a high-conversion asset. In two focused sessions, we’ll move beyond bullet points to uncover the strategic value of your experience. Session 1 covers a full audit and actionable to-do list; Session 2 brings polish, structure, and sharper alignment with your career goals — so your résumé works harder for you.
• Portfolio + Résumé Review (45 min): In this focused two-part series, we’ll sharpen your portfolio and résumé to craft a clear, compelling narrative that stands out to recruiters, hiring managers, and clients. Whether you’re breaking into the industry or stepping up your career, you’ll gain stronger storytelling, clearer evidence, and confidence in how you present your work. Session 1: Review your portfolio against your goals, identify gaps, and create a prioritized action plan to boost impact. Session 2: Get detailed feedback on your résumé’s content, structure, and language, plus a clear to-do list to align it with your target roles. Together, we’ll make sure your portfolio and résumé tell a cohesive story that opens doors.
• Interview Prep (45 min): In this two-part series, we’ll build your confidence and sharpen your skills to help you excel in any design interview. Whether it’s answering behavioural questions, leading a whiteboarding challenge, or presenting your portfolio, I’ll provide tailored scenarios and personalized feedback based on the role you’re targeting. Session 1: We’ll simulate the interview experience - practice your responses, problem-solving, or presentation - and identify areas to strengthen. Session 2: After reflection and practice, we’ll regroup to refine your approach, sharpen your storytelling, and boost your poise. You’ll leave with practical techniques and confidence to tackle interviews with clarity and calm.
