About Saurabh Srivastava

UX Research Lead & Manager at Google

As a Research Lead at Google Commerce with nearly 16 years of experience across IBM, Xerox, and Google, I am passionate about helping the next generation of researchers and strategists navigate the intersection of technical innovation and human-centered design. Throughout my career—which spans 15+ patents and 40+ publications—I have focused on making technology inclusive and impactful, particularly in growth markets and agentic commerce.

I seek to join ADPList to mentor those looking to master mixed-method research, refine their design strategy, or scale products. Whether they are navigating the complexities of big-tech interviews, looking to bridge the gap between academic research and industry, or seeking to transition into leadership roles, I can offer a supportive, candid space to discuss career trajectory and help mentees to turn complex challenges into strategic growth opportunities.

What mentees say

“Saurabh is awesome! He makes me rethink my priorities and inspires me a lot in my career. Great session with Saurabh!”

SHANGSHANG JIAO, Product designer at Indiana University Bloomington

“Really valuable session. Saurabh Sir gave me honest, practical feedback on my portfolio and helped me understand what design teams actually look for. He was generous with his time and offered to help going forward. Highly recommend booking him.”

Pratibha Jallu, Product designer at MetaxurX

“I met with Saurabh to ask how I can prepare for a user research internship interview. I don't have much direct experience in the field, and he gave me a lot of helpful advice (e.g., how I can utilize my background, what knowledge from the field I should familiarize myself with, specifics on the kind of work I'll be doing based on the company and JD) to be a stronger candidate.”

Katlyn Ferrer, Student at UC Irvine
