I led user centered design research by constructing research roadmaps and designing effective studies in collaboration with my product, design, and engineering partners.

• Define and oversee UX metrics for measuring and monitoring UX benchmarks
• By incorporating SUS evaluations and usability studies, I have brought usability to the forefront of the company strategy
• Lead the integration of artificial intelligence thru a blend of mixed methods, including participatory design workshops
• Bring change, value and speed to the research process via engaging and timely read-outs 
• Align research, UX, development, and product by adopting methodologies that pair with an Agile process

Defined and achieved product vision via UX strategy methodologies, helping to better position the Vestaplus suite of cloud applications in a crowded market place. Formative, evaluative and iterative research methods combined with well-timed communications helped me lead alignment across departments.

• Led qualitative and quantitative research efforts to help prioritize user experience opportunities and determine product roadmap targets
• Spearheaded UX persona development leading to well-targeted changes, as these personas became metrics for measuring such outcomes as improved efficiency and accuracy during product redesigns
• Designed usability tests to validate product enhancements and uncover opportunities
• Implemented journey mapping workshops to create stakeholder buy-in for user-centered designs
• Led the creation and implementation of a design system based on Atomic Design principles
• Implemented OKRs into the mentoring process

Facilitated an Agile process shift from engineering-driven product decisions to research-driven ones. Through regular analysis of research findings, and a focus on problem solving, I succeeded in unifying product/UX and engineering to focus on strategy and vision, rather than features.

• Led the integration of analytics into product decisions
• Designed and implemented usability studies, design workshops and focus groups 
• Transformed need finding results into actionable Agile stories
• Information Architecture changes resulted in a 70% reduction in Help Desk calls

I spearheaded the initiative to infuse UX into the enterprise products, which generated about $1 billion in monthly sales revenue. During my tenure, we doubled user engagement in the GoGo LO mobile app.
 
By meeting with developers, stakeholders and users, I created experiences that increased productivity and user enjoyment.
 
Typical tasks were:
• Facilitated and led user research - both with customers and stakeholders
• Wireframed, sketched, whiteboarded and prototyped to solve problems and communicate strategy
• Presented and defended strategy to the executive team
• Prepared all ux/ui assets for handoff to developers (Android, iOS, responsive)
• Included interaction designs, technical specifications and user flows
• Conducted usability testing of prototypes while in the ideation stages
• Facilitated product enhancement decisions with analytics and team brainstorming sessions
• Deliverables included user journey maps, prioritization quadrants & service design blueprints

(A side project) In leading the UX research and product strategy decisions for this small start up, I have driven us to a customer base of over 11 K users with zero advertising spend.

• By conducting research with parents and pediatricians, I was able to invent a design pattern that differentiates the product significantly from its competition
• The creation of a Sketch templating design system has led to lightning fast prototyping, lower development costs and a unified design
• Product strategy direction defined by marketplace competition and user studies has triggered steady growth - with session duration times averaging 2:30 min

I collaborated with my clients to help them make their products intuitive, practical and (hopefully) delightful. Some clients included:

Casetabs. UX Manager. Software to coordinate surgeries. Startup.
• Ethnographic research with surgery staff led to incremental product improvements, such as “digital
whiteboards"
• Facilitated ideation sessions with cross functional teams to determine feature prioritization
• Wireframe interface for responsive web application (RWD) in Balsamiq & Axure
• Maintained strategy for a responsive web application via wireframes and user flows
