My background is in IT, with two master's degrees, one in IT Engineering and one in Computer Science. I started out as a data analyst working with Python, SQL and large datasets, then moved into machine learning, and these days I work as an AI/Data Lead, running Salesforce and building AI tools (Agentforce, Prompt Builder) that solve real problems for a business.
Along the way I've talked to a lot of people across different parts of a business, sales, marketing, operations, leadership, to understand how they think and what actually matters to them. I've learned a huge amount from those conversations, probably more than from any course, and that's a big part of why I wanted to start mentoring. I like sharing what I've picked up, and I like learning from whoever I'm talking to just as much.
I think I can be genuinely useful for a few specific things: figuring out your next career step when you're not sure which direction to take, understanding the London job market, writing a CV or cover letter that sounds like you and not like a template, and breaking into data or AI roles. I also moved to the UK myself, so if you've recently immigrated or are planning to, and you're trying to work out how to restart or translate your experience here, I'd like to help with that too.
