I worked on a Design Research project on baby care product (Diaper) which included conducting a qualitative research with nursing mothers in the remote part of Rivers State, Nigeria. The insights and recommendations from this research was presented and shared with BOI and Kimberly Clark.

The project 'ID Buyer's Guide' was initially proposed to be a marketplace. The goal was to get the users to be able to source for interior designers, architects, suppliers, manufacturers and to allow sales of interior design products.

I was hired as the Product manager and with my background knowledge of design thinking, my first approach was to conduct a user research with stakeholders and after synthesis we were able to discover that the persona will prefer a community to a market place only platform. After putting my insights together I recommended that the app should take the approach of a community where we have a forum like platform for the stakeholders to be able to network and get updates on industry information.

We build a product that enables the users to source with an integrated chatbot system, then they could do business through networking via the forum. The product will later scale into including a full marketplace and other beneficial features for the growth of the community.

I was responsible for analyzing clients’ briefs and sharing valuable insights with the team, which could spur ideation. 

I led communication plans/goals for campaigns.  

I checkout new trends, consumers’ reactions to the trends and sharing insights on how the organization can also adapt to win.

While at Leo Burnett I worked on campaigns for 'Berger Paint' and 'Nigerian Breweries' as an Art director.

I took the responsibilities of leading the communication design, interactive design, and concept forward in any work assigned.

Train and Guide "Visual Arts and Technology department" students in the areas of Computer graphics, Creative photography and Computer aided textile design.

It's a design movement in Nigeria that is committed to making people really know what design is all about through the instrumentality of new thinking, technology, research, knowledge, exhibition, seminars and conferences.

Mission: A commitment to portray design in its original intent, leading to making the government, corporate bodies, institutional organization and other parastatals understand the role of design in nation building.

In 2015 through 2016 WID reached out to 400+ students of secondary and tertiary institutions, organizing seminars, tagged: The Creativity in You; the aim is to enlighten the students on their innate creative potentials and how it could be unleashed for personal and societal benefits. In 2017 WID collaborated with FrameAfric for the production and premier of the award winning documentary titled: The Pride and Glory of Nigeria; an explorative documentary on the aesthetics and functionality of the Nigerian flag. It has won two awards so far; Lake City International Film Festival (2017), and Abuja International Film Festival (2018).

I train graphic design students on different courses such as; what makes a good design, elements and principles of design, Introduction to Adobe photoshop, Typography, Introduction to Adobe illustrator, Image manipulation and Enhancement, Background design, Colour theory, Special effects in photoshop. to mention a few.

I give creative strategies to determine the scope of a project, i determine the message the design should portray by using computer software such as adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign and coreldraw, i develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports, i incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design and also review designs for errors before publishing them.
