I lead the product strategy for Search & Discovery and sponsored discovery across our global education marketplace (60+ markets). The scope sits at the intersection of UX, Ad Tech and platform scale, aligning search relevance with revenue for the listings business.

Search & relevance: Led the rebuild of the search platform (indexing about 70% faster) and introduced ML-driven personalization → sustained traffic and lead-conversion lifts (e.g., +23% traffic, +11% leads) and lower drop-offs.

Ad Tech & revenue: Co-led the product strategy and rollout of our in-house ad server (sponsored/native listings) → ~5% CTR and a seven-figure annual revenue stream, with ranking guardrails to protect relevance.

Operating model: Set tribe OKRs, KPIs and exec dashboards; established an experimentation cadence; collaborate with a 15-person cross-functional squad and support/coach 5 PMs.

I led the core social experience for a 15M-user platform, shaping how anglers engage, discover, and connect—making the feed feel personal and monetizable without eroding trust or subscription health.

From feed to revenue: Launched My Area, a hyper-local feed tied to fishing spots; introduced the first monetization layer in social and helped boost paid subscriptions ~30% (to ~150K) while ~doubling daily engagement.

Recommendations: Led design & rollout of the platform’s first recommendation engine, shifting toward an interest-based graph; improved content relevance (~+40%) and session time (~+18%).

Operating model: Owned the Social roadmap and experimentation cadence; partnered with data science, design, and marketing; reduced delivery cycle ~25% and improved release predictability across a 10-person international team.

I explored new growth bets beyond core connectivity—where telco, content, and services intersect—and turned them into scalable, revenue-positive plays. Scope spanned user/market research, pricing/packaging, and go-to-market with commercial and product teams.

From telco to services: Shaped the Service Bundling strategy (data + OTT/gaming/lifestyle). Piloted in Bangladesh and informed rollouts in other Telenor markets; contributed to market ARPU lifts (e.g., +20% BD, +15% PK, +52% MM).

Digital engagement & sales: Ran pricing/gamification experiments in the self-care app → higher engagement (~+40%) and digital sales (~+23%).

Talent pipeline at scale: Designed GP Explorers with 10 universities; evolved into FutureNation with UNDP/Government—creating a repeatable skills-to-work model.

Operating model: Bridged research, product, commercial, and partnerships; translated insights into roadmaps, experiments, and GTM.

I led strategy and launch for three first-of-their-kind consumer platforms, translating market insight into streaming and messaging products adopted at national scale.

Category-defining launches: Shipped Bioscope (video), GP Music (music), Hello Messenger from concept → MVP → GTM (Scrum). Bioscope surpassed 3M registered users early on and earned national awards.

Engagement at launch: Hello Messenger hit 150K+ beta messages, ~42% DAU, and 60+ min avg. session; later integrated as the chat layer in MyGP (10M+ MAUs) for real-time support.

Commercial impact: Portfolio contributed to ~+14% ARPU uplift and informed digital plays across other Telenor markets; 2× National ICT Awards and GSMA (MWC) nomination.

I designed high-scale onboarding and enablement tools at the intersection of regulatory compliance, inclusion, and mass retail—serving frontline agents and first-time internet users across Bangladesh.

Biometric SIM verification (Bluebox): Designed and shipped Bangladesh’s first KYC-compliant SIM verification platform; adopted by 500k+ retailers/agents, enabling millions of verified SIM activations nationwide.

First-time internet onboarding (EasyNet): Created a mobile-first portal for new-to-web users; helped drive internet users from ~14M to ~34.8M in three quarters (≈+30% data users), capturing newly online segments.

AR micro-learning for retailers (Ignite winner): Co-built an AR-based training tool to upskill low-literacy retailers; group-wide winner and rolled out to 450k+ retailers, improving campaign readiness at scale.

At Ekhanei, I served as the global product team’s leader in bridging between the global platform team and the Bangladesh market—localizing UX, accelerating supply growth, and aligning a shared roadmap across sites.

Platform integration, cross-site: Coordinated with ~25-person teams in Barcelona & Dhaka to integrate and enhance the newly acquired platform; translated local behaviors into global requirements.

UX redesign with results: Led the UX overhaul of Cellbazaar.com (the local property) → +80% site visits and 10,000 listings in <9 months (beat the 12-month target).

Listings engine ownership: Owned the Ad Listing flow (core revenue/engagement driver); improved seller onboarding, category/attribute clarity, and mobile listing completion.

Customer insight → roadmap: Ran field research, usability tests, and funnel analyses to identify PMF barriers; converted findings into wireframes, specs, and releases.

Reimagined Bangladesh’s first online classifieds to win back relevance and speed during a pivotal transition—bridging business intent with user behavior and mobile realities.

Listings growth & conversion: Overhauled listing and browse flows; lifted daily listings to 8,000+ and helped regain market leadership.

Speed & reliability: Optimized assets and templates; site became ~3× faster (≈“300% improvement” in load time), boosting session depth and completion.

Strategic repositioning: Design-led product improvements contributed to a successful €300M Schibsted investment (49% equity)—one of the region’s largest digital deals at the time.

How we worked: Lean research, rapid prototyping, and usability testing to prioritize what mattered most for core segments and mobile users.

I was one of the earlier members of the team so, played different hats during different situations. Mostly, I was responsible for designing the Press Ads and maintaining the contents for the entertainment VAS portfolio.

At Beshto, I conceived and developed a product portfolio strategy in alignment with company management. Here I derived a product portfolio roadmap that included the maintenance of the current product portfolio. I strategically managed the complete product lifecycle from R&D up to service that included product maintenance and product modification.

Main Achievements:
• Launched beshto.com, the country's very first microblogging platform which played a central role during the Shahbag movement as the primary communication medium; introduced 'proshno' (country's largest user-generated question bank as of today) after the launch of Beshto.

As an executive, my biggest responsibility was maintaining the accounts with my client services team. Since I used to do graphic designs as well so mostly ended up designing the creatives for the clients my team handled.

Maintained all the computer labs, the data servers used for printing. Worked on setting up the labs every semester before the advising period and before the acm icpc programming contests.

My core responsibility was to digitize all the student records by manually scanning the paper documents.
