WHEN I WAS YOUNG, I voluntarily helped a foreign friend communicate with the locals in my country by becoming his translator. I was also the kid, who always took lead in planning all the family road-trips. And as a personal initiative, I took on the challenge to design my first employers corporate strategy which resulted with immense returns - (40.2% CAGR, 521% individual ROI and Revenue of USD 100k+).
I KNEW that these were my strengths and this is exactly the area where I wanted to pursue a career in. Itβs been about 9 years to my professional career and I still act as a translator, a road-trip planner, and a design thinker.
As a translator, I run between business, technical & client counterparts, acting as a liaison between them. I work with everyone to understand what they really need and then translate and communicate those needs in a way that it becomes easier for everyone to appreciate!
As a road-trip planner, I help my team plan their trips and the route they need to take; I focus on the destination, jolt down all possible maps and let them know the most optimal way of getting there β within a time-boxed moment.
And as a design thinker, I often look at experiences, systems and processes with empathy & creativity; to unlock areas of innovation or if something could be done in a much simple way.
