About Simply Chris P

AI Product Engineer at Google

I'm a seasoned Googler (16+ years) and manager. I've worked as a SWE on frontends, backends, pipelines and as SRE. A lot of my work has been across team-boundaries and offices. My mentoring-style is asking you questions that set you in the right direction. I'm also neurodiverse and on the autism spectrum.

I am looking to mentor intermediate and senior folks in their career. I'm not looking to help with interview prep.

What mentees say

β€œI’m incredibly grateful for the time I had with Chris as a mentor. His honesty, depth of knowledge, and willingness to share resources made a real impact on my learning journey. He provided valuable guidance and perspective that helped me better understand what the path ahead looks like in the tech industry. Even in a short time, I gained clarity, useful tools, and a deeper sense of direction.”

Debora Pichel, Student at ZTM

β€œSo far I've had 2 sessions with Chris as my doctoral research mentor, and he has been helpful with my progress the past 2 weeks. Having a regular session with him as an accountability partner keeps me to be on track with the progress. Chris is also very knowledgable with tools and gave me several useful tips already that can improve my productivity.”

Mel Hendra, SVP of Product Design at Consulting

β€œI turned to Chris after feeling stuck in my career. Since then I changed the team, adopted many useful habits and became objectively more motivated and productive. Chris is usually not giving you the right answers but rather asks the right questions. That works pretty well because most of the changes you make feel like your own ideas and decisions.”
