PEREGRINE is a Berlin-based startup offering real-time traffic video analytics to help make smarter decisions on the road.

• Analyzed the telematics data obtained from phone sensors to provide analytics and driving insights to the customer.
• Developed the anonymization pipeline for obfuscating faces and number plates from video data collected through the phones.

TRIUMF LAB is the particle accelerator center of Canada, affiliated with CERN, Switzerland.

• Developed algorithms for the classification of highly charged decaying particles in a CERN experiment.
• Deployed a package for the automatic classification of these particles. 
• Improved the model accuracy as compared to the previously deployed model by a factor of 2.
• Used both tree-based and Artificial Neural Network-based classifiers on image and numerical datasets.

APFC is a think-tank analyzing Canada’s relation with Asia Pacific region.

• Extracted major topics from public Twitter data of a leading daily publication in China to identify the evolution of topics and discussions over time of trade and economic significance for new businesses.
• Saved many hours of manual data extraction of trade data from online sources by automating the process through a script.
• Proposed a new way of building an in-house data tool. The recommendations are in effect.

• Built CNN model using the Pytorch library to correctly classify road pixels over the aerial imagery of Alberta, Canada.
• The model obtained high accuracy as compared to the ground truth at around 99% pixels correctly classified as a road or non-road pixels.
• This model was further used to update the map by correctly identifying new roads and remove old roads.

INNOVACCER is a Silicon Valley-based healthcare data analytics firm building big-data solutions for U.S. healthcare.

• Responsible for building microservices, owning and performing Data Science tasks in a delivery project, assuring quality and accuracy of analysis/results and documenting work.
• Built Patient risk score module in Scala for in-house DataShop product, Analysed and generated reports for 100GB+ Electronic Medical/Health Data for clients (Mercy Healthcare, Catalyst Health Care).

• Developed a tool to score the sentiment expressed in tweets about Snapdeal and its competitors. Visualized the data through word cloud and time-series graphs. The prototype is available on Shiny Server. 
• Gained insights into various recommendation engines used by an e-commerce site.
