About Skot Carruth
Founder at The UX Architect
I help leaders get good ideas off the drawing board and into working software.
I led the innovation design firm Philosophie Group from 2008–2022, where we specialized in applying agile design and development principles to rapidly building and shipping early-stage software products. During this time, I also moonlit as a UX and entrepreneurship educator at General Assembly, UCLA Anderson, and NYU Stern, and mentored for organizations such as Techstars and Startup UCLA.
I enjoy working with non-technical founders to help them understand the often-misunderstood foundations of design thinking and agile development. I can also get tactical with user research and interaction design challenges.
I'm currently developing a new concept in the e-commerce logistics space, and looking to connect with people who know retail, e-commerce, or logistics to learn from them.
