The Director of Partnerships at UXPA leads strategic relationship development, manages key industry collaborations, drives growth through partnerships, and oversees the implementation of partnership initiatives while serving as the primary liaison between the organization and its partners.

UXPA Portugal, a chapter of the International User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA), is a non-profit organization uniting Portugal's UX community. We empower UX professionals to create products that genuinely serve users' needs and meet companies' goals.

• Champion Design Ops Vision & Strategy: Oversee the evolution and direction of the DesignOps practice, encompassing both the Design System and Research Ops teams.
• People Management: Oversee several teams working closely with team leads to nurture team dynamics, mentorship, and professional development, ensuring a motivated and productive work environment. 
• Community & Learning: Foster a thriving design community by enhancing team engagement, communication, skills development, and orchestrating quarterly and yearly organizational gatherings.
• Planning & Collaboration: Streamline product development processes, promote inter-pillar cooperation, and ensure seamless cross-functional planning.
• Staffing & Resources: Manage long-term staffing plans, budget considerations, and efficient resource distribution.
• Systems & Tool Management: Handle governance protocols, cultivate vendor relationships, and nurture external design collaborations.
• Empower UX Leadership: Collaborate with UX leaders to formalize best practices, establish guidelines, and create templates, thus fortifying and expanding the UX practice

• Lead the design direction of the design system as a product with the core design team
• Facilitate planning, and determine priorities, scope, requirements, and timelines of the design system to the team
• Monitor and report progress and findings regularly to stakeholders
• Evangelize the design system mission, library, process, and technical aspects to the organisation
• Foster and coordinate discussions with all internal and external users of the design system in order to get feedback and improve the Design System
