At Equals I led and advocated for good UI/UX practices throughout the organisation and for our clients. Forming partnerships with our clients to understand the unique challenges they are facing in their business and how we can help them solve these. I led design sprints and workshops we hold to encourage our clients to learn fast and fail fast and unravel problems they are facing. 

I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of engaging website designs and rebrands, develop new web apps and native apps from start to finish, as well as deliver engaging concept work for proposals for new prospects. With UX strategy, research, flows and UI design the core of the work I do here, I am constantly looking at how we can improve processes and help our clients achieve success.

Brought on board to champion the UI and UX of their existing white-labelled progressive web apps, I worked to bring their digital solutions above those offered by their competition. By standardising the app framework, we were able to improve the user experience, solidify the visual design and reduce development overheads.

At Medical Solutions my main responsibilities included:

• Designing white labelled web app solutions for a wide range of high profile clients
• Evolving the visual identity of the company and creating a new website to help position Medical Solutions as the market leader
• Liaising with clients for the development of personalised apps and any marketing material they might need to support the launch of the app
• Working closely with sales and marketing departments on lead generation activity
• Producing a wide range of marketing activity such as social media content, newsletters and email campaigns

Fantoo are a software start-up offering a personal intelligence engine for email, messaging, tasks and calendar activities. The software provides a people centric, mobile and desktop application that empowers people to triage their messages and turn them into actions. 

Here I was a key team member in developing the online presence and visual identity of the company including a new website, various promotional materials and a large rebranding project. 

My role expanded into working with the design and development teams for both mobile and desktop, to create the digital identity of the companies core products. This initially involved creating visual assets and refining the look of existing features, which then evolved into becoming a key part of the design and development of new features for both their mobile and desktop applications.

I worked at XL recordings for 3 weeks, during my time here I worked on a project for Lapsley one of their upcoming artists. I was set the task to make a pre-music video for her new song 'Hurt Me' this involved me brainstorming ideas, talking them through, right through to shooting and editing the music video myself.

Working within the design team in house creating a new logo and designing layouts for print with a wide variety of high profile clients including Unilever.

Work experience here included speaking to the design team on their current projects, being shown how to present effectively to a client on boards and working as part of a team collaboratively on a recycling project within the company.
