I'm Sophie, an Edinburgh-based Senior User Experience Designer.

I have been working in UX for the last 4 years, and prior I was a freelance Visual Designer, specialising in Illustration, for 6 years.

I have experience working in Design Systems for Enterprise software companies. I love exploring design patterns and creating reusable components to create a cohesive and usable experience.

I transitioned to UX from the Visual Design world, and am happy to share my experience of how visual design experience can be beneficial and a key skill on a Product team.
