I support engineers and architects in resolving challenging problems related to distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and artificial intelligence, and ensure they receive proper recognition for their efforts.
I manage several engineering teams supporting 100+ microservices serving millions of users at Capital One. Over my 20-year career, I have delivered solutions for a Swiss government agency, built platforms for a global banking organization, provided consulting services at Deloitte and Amdocs, and spearheaded massive cloud-native re-engineering projects.
I am an IEEE Senior Member and part of multiple Technical Program Committees, and a reviewer for over 80 peer-reviewed research papers published at international conferences. I am a regular contributor to DATAVERSITY, HackerNoon, Dev.to, and beaconoftech.com, and an invited speaker at multiple conferences (Apidays NY, API world, etc.,). I judged at hackathon competitions organized by UCLA, Georgia Tech, and the University of Kansas, and Globee Awards.
In terms of mentoring, I have helped engineers migrate to AWS, made Kafka architectural choices, facilitated career growth into staff/architect positions. I co-chair an Equality Allies BRG and mentor young professionals at Girls Inc Coders and Monster Coding Jam.
