Improve Amazon's catalog quality through generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM) with fine-tuning and reinforced learning from human feedback (RLHF) based on A/B experimentation data.

I traveled domestically and globally to visit customers for negotiations and expand project opportunities. I also led strategic development to develop new markets to increase sales of large industrial valves.

✓Led a team of software engineers to launch product selection software that eliminated inefficient review of product specifications, improving on-time quotes to customers from 57% to 92%.
✓Developed a new business development plan that eliminated unwanted product features from refinery customers for a $15M industrial valve business, increasing profit from 18% to 35%.

I developed strategies to reduce cost to manufacture. I also traveled to Asia and Middle East to collaborate with local salespersons for technical training, project opportunities expansion, and new product promotion.

✓Drove raw material cost reduction by $1M through diversifying supplier options with in-depth supplier cost analysis and negotiation with suppliers, exceeding the annual order plan by 17% for a $10M industrial valve in China market.
✓Expanded project opportunities for both power plants and refineries from $21M to $32M in Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam by visiting local engineering firms and organizing product promotion events with local sale.

I developed bidding strategy with product managers through technical project quotations. I also reviewed new contracts and provided detailed instructions to start manufacturing of industrial valves for power plants application.

✓Headed a team of 7 engineers from different facilities to create tracking tool and change management process that improved the product on-time delivery from 30% to 80% in a $5M project, the largest project in 5 years.
✓Revised purchase-order-to-execution process by eliminating redundant process steps through detailed cycle time analysis, reducing the cycle time from 7-days to 4-days, shorter than the industry standard of 5-days.

I transferred the flagship implantable lenses production from the Switzerland facility to the US facility. Throughout the transfer project, I improved the manufacturing processes and expanded the production capacity.

✓Improved daily production output of the top selling implantable lenses from 40% to 70% through changing the manufacturing process by identifying root causes of major process failures based on detailed yield analysis.
✓Steered facility layout changes by performing capacity analysis in 2 cleanrooms, increasing production capacity by 47% in the US facility over the retired Switzerland facility.
