About Stephan Thiemt

Principal Design Strategist at PHOENIX

Hey! I’m Stephan, a curious explorer of the future and Digital Design Strategist at Phoenix Design. I’m a designer at heart equipped with a strategic mindset that believes in the potential of blending new technologies with human needs and business strategy to enhance everyday experiences.

Striving for future-proof innovation, design-driven strategy, and compelling aesthetics, I love to blur the boundary between physical and digital form factors. My daily work is based on the power of prototyping and quick iterations to bring innovative ideas to life while moving fast and learning rapidly.

I explode constraints to create new physical products, digital services, intangible experiences, and palpable delight. With professional experience in user experience design, design strategy, and product design I enjoy working on innovation consulting in the fields of connected products and holistic product-/service-ecosystems.

I am inspired and motivated when discussing new technology, the potential of smart home appliances and medical home diagnostics, the future of mobility and the future of work. A lot of inspiration and passion I draw from working in music-related fields such as music production, concerts, videos, and artworks.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in starting a conversation.
