Responsible for building cross-functional partnerships to evangelize, educate, and create alignment across brand design, product design, product, and engineering. Led the delivery of Sketch design kits to drive engagement and adoption of the Helios Design Language across our design teams. Most recently, undertook a brand-wide reimagining of our color palettes with a view to driving accessibility in the core foundations of our design language. Unfortunately, was part of a large company wide layoff after just a few months.

Selected for the team responsible for community, home, and collections features within Cricut’s Design Space app. Worked collaboratively with PMs, Engineers, UX Designers and Creative team. Designs included end- to-end process including research, flows, user testing, and final visual design for desktop, iOS and Android. Primary UX designer responsible for building out the design system in Figma and collaborating with design system engineers—taking into consideration global app use cases, accessibility, and cross platform considerations. Successfully worked cross-functionally on web based projects to streamline UX in a historically fragmented framework and bridge the departmental gaps between UX and Creative departments.

Recruited and hired by the Studio Department after demonstrating advanced knowledge of creative software and the ability to learn quickly while under contract. Responsible for preparing print and web documents for final delivery. Successfully meet extremely high standards and tight deadlines of an award winning, global digital marketing agency. Client accounts include Intel, Cisco, and Verizon Enterprise. Work typically includes fleshing out branded templates, creating new templates, maintaining exact design guideline standards, pre-press preparation and supporting Art Directors as needed. EVP, Chief Creative Officer, Ted Tsandes, often requests me by name when RFP’s and special projects are needed that require design work in addition to typical studio work. After first year of employment awarded a significant raise and placed in future management track based on excellent work history, communication and organizational skills. Recently evolved into a combined Production Designer/Art Director role for Mastercard after demonstrating excellent creative skills, aptitude, and knowledge of the brand.

Hired by the Communications Department to elevate and freshen the brand to make Girl Scouts of Utah more relevant in the community. Responsible for brand management based on GSUSA brand standards, creation and execution of print material and some web/social media materials. Materials include a wide variety: biannual magazine style publications, event/program logos, flyers, posters, print ads, web ads, postcards, stationary, business cards, invitations, street banners, and event photography. Create and produce all materials for the State of Utah. Direct photo shoots, shoot events, manage and edit photography. Prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. Lead and contribute to creative meetings. Work closely and directly with printers – traditional off-set, web press and digital – to obtain bids, submit print-ready artwork, attend press-checks, and form positive mutually beneficial relationships. Maintain CMS website.

Primary responsibility to design visual marketing materials including print, web and trade show advertising for two clients. Managed and produced client materials based on brand standards and deadlines. Project responsibilities encompass communication, brainstorming, development, scheduling, designing, proposing best options, requesting quotes, working with printers, press checks, coordinating shipping and delivery. Organized and maintained graphic files. Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed including creative and press release writing, photography, script writing and directing, researching venders, participating in client meetings and sales efforts.

Reviewed and edited digital radiology cases for STATdx radiology decision support system. Edited radiographic images using Photoshop. Consulted with authors to improve clarity and quality of patient cases.

Sold STATdx radiology decision support system to physicians, hospitals and academic institutions via telephone and tradeshows. Manages/serviced customer base using CRM software. Participated in product launch activities for ImmunoQuery pathology decision support system. Created marketing plan for STATdx product line extension in women’s health

Designed publications for LaGrange Art Museum as directed by The Branding Firm. Assembled client folders, organized/consolidated digital files.

Supervised entire project including setting deadlines, creating production timeline, organizing electronic submissions, compiling and sorting research, art directing journal layout and preparing electronic version for print production.

Hung and packed exhibits as well as catalogued permanent art collection. Developed concepts for museum education, assembled materials, presented and taught. Designed museum publications as directed by The Branding Firm.
