About Steven Liang

Senior Product Designer at Australian Payments Plus

Hey, I'm Steven, currently with the Australian Payments Plus team, pushing the boundaries of how payments can evolve in the future.

My path to product design has been a rollercoaster of successes and challenges. Before fully committing to product design, I spent six years launching and growing startups in China, a journey where my passion for designing experiences, solving problems and innovating products truly took shape.

I can share my story and learnings in the following areas: 🪄Becoming an end to end product designer 🚀Landing your first UX/UI job when: a. You have to build a portfolio from scratch. b. English isn't your first language 🤘Working in an established team vs a startup 📐Uplifting an existing design system 😊Coping with imposter syndrome
