About Steven Sommer

Principal Design Program Manager at Microsoft

I have the privilege of leading the DesignOps team for Microsoft's Collaboration Experience Design group. We are responsible for the design of Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Lists, Syntex, Photos and GroupMe. My teammates are extraordinary and it's a joy to find new ways to amplify them and maintain the world-class nature of our studio.

Background in marketing, foreground in design.

Like: building products and teams that deserve to exist.

Dislike: referring to humans as “resources.”

Right now, I make things at Microsoft.
