I strongly believe that we rise by lifting others and it worked for me throughout my 17 years of career in Software Engineering as a people leader and Individual Contributor. I worked at startups and at big tech (Amazon), navigated multiple promotions upto Staff Engineer at Wayfair, currently at Capital One as Senior Lead Software Engineer, influencing and guiding 30 engineers across 5 teams. I have mentored actively in the last 10 years both short term(6 months) and long term(3 years) and helped engineers succeed and achieve their goals by actively listening and providing small actionable feedback regularly. I contribute to open source, participate in public tech panels via Massachusetts Tech Leadership Council (MTLC) helping engineers up skill and grow.
