Currently leading a highly distributed service for managing and deploying Azure SQL db deployments across all data centers. This includes millions of Azure SQL db's that were created on Azure.

We as SQL Server Base team own entire release/build/test infrastructure and we make sure what ever we release to our customers with high quality, that's our Northstar.

i am mainly into getting rid of our old Test infrasystem ( WTT(rings a bell ?) which was around for many years ) to Cloud test and trying to run all our tests (more thank 50K) every day to make sure we dont allow any regressions to sneak in. I am currently working on running tests on Multiple machines and heads down to make it a reality soon which is mainly required for High availability ( aka HADRON )


Note: I love to break the builds ( ofcourse for a good reason , to avoid any bad checkins and make sure we always have our LKG ).

Currently, Being part of the SQL Server Deployment team,  we are responsible for releasing Azure SQL and other SQL services to the entire world ( 62+ regions, 200K App types, 6M+ Db's .....).

Part of same Team (SSIS) however MDS was moved from Redmond to shanghai , where i was asked to work on it all alone and i was up for the challenge. Master Data Services (MDS) is the SQL Server solution for master data management. Master data management (MDM) enables your organization to discover and define non-transactional lists of data, and compile maintainable, reliable master lists. Master Data Services first shipped with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 . 

Extensive Use of LRSS , test dashboard, WTT( windows testing technologies ) to maintain the overall quality of the product to be released as part of Sql server release cycle.

Part of SSIS team based out of Shanghai china Microsoft Development center which is part of SQL server group . Worked on customized logging level feature in SSMS to enable users to opt for his preferred way of logging before executing SSIS packages . Owner of Springboard project, released 2 cycles of azure feature pack for SSIS which contains Azure and Hadoop connectors . 

Drive the complete effort of SSIS Test sign off as part of Sql Server 2016 which includes use of LRSS , GQL , Test dashboards and GQL Automation suites .

mostly I will be taking up challenging work and I will make sure that what ever the project I am in , I will deliver it on time with great quality . Worked for many external customers and responsible for complete delivery of a solution right starting from its inception .

Worked for an external customer called TSYS (Total systems) . TSYS Dispute Resolution (TDR) is a web-based dispute and chargeback case management system designed to streamline the operational processes. TDR was designed for use by call center representatives and chargeback specialists. TDR is the accepted corporate value-add solution for Dispute Resolution.
