About Sweena Kalamkar

Product Designer at Space and Flow inc.

I'm currently a product designer at an independent, service-based startup called Space and flow INC. We work with our client in the healthcare space as immersive in-house designers. My work comprises of product roadmap, problem solving, interactive and visual design. Before this, I was a UX designer at Welldoc Inc. working on their foundational mobile and clientele solutions.

Ever since I started my career in design, I've always been passionate about giving back to the community and supporting newer designers in the field. I was greatly benefitted by my peers and mentors therefore, hope to help out our community with what I have to offer. I'm hoping I can help provide perspective on all aspects of UX as a career, including breaking into the field with a non-tech background, career growth, or general best practices. I am particularly passionate about diversity and inclusivity for all people being an international student and a woman of color in tech.

I like to keep things mostly casual and stress-free. I am hoping to build long-term mentor-mentee relationships which benefit both parties and allow growth.
