About Tamil Selvan

Senior UX Designer at Capgemini

I’m Tamil Selvan, a Senior UX Designer in London (ex-Pegasystems & Temenos) with 13+ years of experience simplifying complex enterprise products across banking, insurance, SaaS and AI-powered workflows.

I moved from India to the UK, and I know how confusing that transition can be. I had to understand a completely different job market, rethink my CV and portfolio, learn how hiring works here, and figure out how to position years of experience in a new country.

I learned a lot through that process, mostly by trying, failing, adjusting and trying again.

So my mentoring isn't just for designers. If you're trying to build your career in the UK, I'm happy to share what I've learned and help you navigate the process.

I'm also spending a lot of time exploring AI. Instead of just learning the tools, I've been using them to turn my ideas into real products and recently built and published my own app with AI-assisted development.

Whether you want to talk about UX, your UK career, your portfolio, interviews, or how to turn an idea into a working product using AI, I'm happy to share what I know.

Sometimes you don't need all the answers. You just need someone who's been through a similar journey to point you in the right direction.
