About Tan Han Wei
Senior Game Designer at Tencent (Lightspeed Studios)
Hi there! Senior Game Designer at Tencent, where I navigate ambiguity daily and turn fuzzy ideas into shipped features. I'm that person who thrives when the brief is "make something fun" with no other details.
What We'll Actually Talk About Strategic AI Integration - Not how to use tools, but WHEN and WHY to use AI in your creative process. I'll help you think through which problems AI can actually solve vs. which need human creativity.
Design in the Real World - How to handle stakeholder chaos, pivot when everything changes, and find the fun when nobody agrees what the product should be. Based on actual fires I've put out.
Career Navigation - From multimedia to gaming, from employee to hackathon winner—I've made unconventional moves work. Let's figure out your path, especially if it doesn't fit the typical playbook.
My Sweet Spot I excel at helping you think through the messy middle—when you have an idea but don't know if it's worth pursuing, when you're stuck between options, or when you need someone to validate (or challenge) your approach.
Perfect Match If... You're deciding between safe and risky career moves. You're wondering if your "crazy" idea has legs. You need perspective on whether to build, pivot, or kill a project. You're navigating ambiguous work situations. You want honest feedback from someone who's shipped in chaos.
No tutorials, just real talk about what works, what doesn't, and how to think through your specific situation. I'm here to help you make better decisions, not teach you tools.
