Following my curiosity has always been the best decision I've ever made.
I’ve always been fascinated by people’s careers. Whenever I meet someone new, I ask, “What do you do?”—not just as small talk, but because I genuinely want to know. I imagine their daily routine, the challenges they face, the things that make them excited or exhausted. I do the same with places. Every time I travel, I picture what it would be like to live there, to work there, to build a life there. I don’t need to experience everything firsthand—but I love exploring the possibilities.
That obsession with possibilities made choosing my own career...well, complicated. I considered everything. I spent hours researching, picturing different futures, testing out options. I even started studying mechatronics before realizing it wasn’t for me. Eventually, I landed on business and marketing because it combined strategy, psychology, and communication—things that always fascinated me.
After graduation, I found myself doing what I’d always done: helping people navigate possibilities. I worked at my university, first recruiting students, then helping them find scholarships and internships abroad. I watched people take leaps, leave their comfort zones, and completely change their futures. It was addictive. I wanted to experience that change myself.🌎
So I left. My first stop was Ghana, where I worked at the embassy managing digital communications, cultural affairs, and economic reports. Then Uruguay, where I started in marketing at a recruitment agency. That role quickly evolved—I picked up sales, then recruitment, and before I knew it, I was leading hiring processes. Talking to candidates, understanding their goals, matching them to companies—it clicked.
I’ve been obsessed with careers, places, and possibilities for as long as I can remember. Now, I get to turn that obsession into something real—I run my own recruitment business, Atomic HR, and I spend my days talking to CEOs, hiring managers, and job seekers, figuring out what they need and what excites them. I help companies access talent beyond their borders, and candidates land remote jobs.🚀
And the best part? I get to help people make the big, scary, life-changing decisions that I’ve always been drawn to.
